This position is responsible primarily for performing acoustic measurements on the company's microphone products in support of test engineering. Duties and responsibilities also include setup and operation of equipment for use in design verification, reliability tests and operation of test equipment on a day-to-day basis. Preparation of samples for internal tests, preparing samples for delivery for outsourced tests and providing hands on solutions to technical challenges. The candidate must be adaptable to a changing work structure and highly motivated to perform in a small-company environment. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and mechanical dexterity for miniature die substrate manipulation is desirable.
Qualifications
- ASEE or equivalent work experience.
- The ability to work on several projects simultaneously in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation
The opportunity at Akustica is a temporary position that could lead into
a full time opportunity. Compensation will be negotiated upon company
acceptance and deliberation.
