Analog Circuit Designer
Successful candidate will be expected to interface with transducer designers and contribute to system-level models, architecture definition and analog circuit design. Knowledge of and experience in CMOS circuit design for analog and mixed-signal processing applications a must. Demonstrated capability in design and layout of A/D & D/A converters or linear filters required. Past experience with analog circuit design for sensors, audio, consumer electronics or telecommunication systems is highly desirable. MSEE with 3+ years of related industry experience a minimum. Sales Engineer
Akustica is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to help build the next generation acoustic platform for hearing aids, mobile phones and consumer electronics products. The successful candidate will work internally with Akustica's sales and engineering teams to coordinate and provide superior service to external customers and prospects.

The successful candidate must have a sound knowledge of signal processing and microelectronics technology. Familiarity with acoustics and hearing a plus. Thorough knowledge of one or more key technical areas is essential: CMOS Processes, technical understanding of Integrated Circuits and Systems. Candidate must have a proven and verifiable track record of success and increasing responsibility in similar or larger environments and the proven ability to convey complex technical issues to non-technical people at all levels. Strong organizational skills are required.

This position requires a college degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent and 5-7 years experience. The position will be located in Pittsburgh, PA. Travel requirements are approximately 50 to 100 days per year.
