Detailed Description
The BMU551R, BMU563R, and BMU537R are high-performance, highly robust analog-output microphones that match industry standard footprints and enable a straightforward performance upgrade of current designs. All three microphones are housed in mechanically and electrically robust metal-lid packages that both enable the microphones to withstand the many stresses of manufacturing and provide additional RF rejection in wireless frequency bands.
The BMU551R (top-port) & BMU563R (bottom-port) deliver a superior 66dB signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) with a single-ended analog output while also providing <1% total harmonic distortion (THD) up to 118dB SPL. Additionally, the BMU551R draws a low 60μA in full performance mode.
The BMU537R (bottom-port) is a differential-output analog microphone with an excellent 66dB SNR and a high acoustic overload point (AOP) of 130dB SPL. The differential analog-output provides the additional benefit of minimizing audio signal corruption from nearby components.
